Welcome
When blogs first started to gain popularity in the internet world, I didn't completely understand its purpose. Of course, I knew it was an "online journal", but the question was "Why would you want to put your personal information on display for EVERYONE to read?" Other blogs talked about absolutely nothing at all, more rambling than anything of value. During my time working at Page1Solutions, more ideas for blog usage came into light. By this time, I was interested in having a blog of my own. But, there was one problem, what in the world was I going to write about?
This website serves a couple of different purposes (1) to display an online photo album by avoiding the use and troubles of online albums such as Snapfish, Bebo, MySpace, etc. and having a journal to keep everyone up-to-date on new and exciting things I'm experiencing on different travels. (2) Also, to help me maintain and further develop my design and coding skills.
With that said, this website is not only dedicated to my experience in Japan, which is why the title and design of the website does not have a "Japanese" look and feel. I plan to keep this website for a long time, in hopes of updating it on a regular basis with future travels.
I hope all of you enjoy the site and continue to check back every now and then for updates.
